Marking my 5th year at this annual tradition with husband and friends.
I remember the very first year we dated, Kyle surprised me with tickets to the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic and I was so impressed because I had heard it was such a suave event. If you want to take that trip down memory lane with me, check out my blog post from our very first #VCPoloClassic. 5 polo games later, we're keeping the tradition strong. We've been to General Admission, Rose Garden, and VIP (!!Thank you Veuve!!) and needless to say it is just one giant, bubbly party on a beautiful autumn day that could pass as nostalgic summertime fun. This year, I wore this little red Reformation number; I thought the red would go well with the signature Veuve Clicquot orange and it was a bold 87ºF, so I didn't want to be bothered with much. I kept the palette simple with my favorite nude heels from 3.1 Phillip Lim that are ages-old and my vintage straw Chanel bag. I absolutely love this dress and I can see this being in my wardrobe forever, because of its flattering sweetheart neckline and romantic sleeves. It's a perfect red go-to for date night, parties, or a Saturday with Veuve Clicquot. |
