CHANEL's Global Creative Makeup and Color Designer, Lucia Pica, embarked on a California road trip to find inspiration for the newest CHANEL Fall/Winter 2017 makeup collection. From LA to Big Sur, Lucia discovered fresh textures and unexpected colors that emerged from the most spontaneous moments along the road trip, like beaming headlights against a fiery sunset or a nondescript puddle of water in the LA river's concrete channel. The journey to create a unique moodboard, undriven by trend and existing references, resulted in my most favorite collection yet: an elevated ensemble of California moods and vibes in effortless, luxe palettes à la CHANEL. I'm wearing eyeshadow hues from CHANEL Les 4 Ombres Road Movie, cheek and face color from the new Palette Essentielle in Beige Medium, and Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in First Light. The entire collection releases August 2nd, only a few more days to get your hands on it all!
