A marriage of old and new worlds in a pink-domed palace.
Residing in the decadent Cote d'Azur destination Nice, just along the most perfect spot on the Promenade des Anglais, is an iconic hotel and Natural Historic Monument, Hotel Le Negresco. Kyle and I spent a beautiful couple of days slowly waking to the sounds of the Baie des Anges just outside our oceanfront window, sipping tea and enjoying petit dejeuner from our plush, sea-inspired suite. Part of our itinerary in Nice was exploring every corner of this magnificent property that houses a world-class art collection of over 6,000 pieces spanning five centuries, from the era of Louis XIII - many including original pieces from Picasso, Dali, Niki de Saint Phalle, etc. Its stained glass dome is designed by Monsieur Eiffel himself (yes, the one of that tower). Rare antiques and luxurious furnishings are at your disposal - think of it as a ticketed museum and stay in one. No two bedrooms are the same and every vignette you seek is full of vivid, French flair. Le Negresco is majestic and opulent, but in such a unique expression that will leave you praising as one of the best highlights of your travels. There is no doubt in my mind that we will call Le Negresco our home of the French Riviera.
Kyle and I are so excited to share this editorial inspired by the elegance and timelessness of the Cote d'Azur, featuring the newest fragrance CHANEL Noº5 L'eau.
