Sachin + Babi Noir


Casual elegance in daywear.

Michael Stars tank. Sachin & Babi skirt. St. Scott backpack. Swedish HasBeens shoes.

A month ago, I stopped by cool-girl boutique Satine on 3rd Street to shop the latest Spring/Summer collection of Sachin + Babi and Sachin + Babi Noir (their refined eveningwear). I'm a fan of the husband-and-wife duo's signature obsession with elegant embroideries and fun appliques that take the most classic silhouettes into today's youthful vibe. It was rad seeing the beautiful, dedicated display of Sachin + Babi in the upstairs loft of Satine, one of the most inspiring places to shop and have fun in LA. I picked up this mesh ball skirt with a dainty floral applique and a gorgeous cocktail dress of similar print. I finally was able to wear the skirt out, dressed casually with a loose tank, to check out the whitewashed Sunset Pacific Motel in Silverlake.
