House of DVF

Something exciting is coming.

Well written stories and the intriguing characters of television are my non-guilty pleasures. I'm always tuning into fresh new shows and catching up on old ones; I've become hands down the most reliable person to talk to about last week's episode of Game of Thrones or the Real Housewives of whatever. 

This season, I'm super excited for the new addition to the reality competition roster, E! Network's House of DVF. It's fashion, business, and fabulousness all-in-one with fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg, the inventor of the wrap dress and subsequent icon in women empowerment. I couldn't wait to see her in action! I previewed the first episode of House of DVF and I was immediately captivated by Diane's charm, sass, and unexpected candor with her crew. I'm tuning in not only to learn a few tidbits of realness from Diane, but to also cheer on my fellow LA blogger Kier Mellour and NY blogger Jinna Yang who are two of eight contestants competing to become the Global Brand Ambassador of Diane Von Furstenberg. They'll be tasked with executing the ins and outs of running a global fashion business, such as planning a press lunch to working at the DVF Spring 2015 show during Fashion Week. Even when the drama is high, Diane singularly remains grounded while delivering genuine advice to empower the eight contestants and viewers watching at home. Diane's a natural star and she'll be shining on House of DVF for a long, long time.
