stripe on stripe


Still obsessed over my new Sam Edelman 'Yelena' sandals. Like I said before, they go with anything and the most awesome thing I've found to pair them with is more stripes! The juxtaposition of stripes and stripes is so visually rad to the eye. Even though this Forever 21 dress is 5 years old, it's still one of my favorites that I bring out summer after summer. I'm super proud to own this affordable staple piece that has lasted over trends and seasons.

    I am so madly in love with these heels. Is that a wooden heel on them? If so - they are LITERALLY the perfect pair of summer shoes. the contrast/compliment between the bright neon colors and the natural wood of the heel is perfection.

    I'm all about juxtaposing unexpected elements, and by pairing the natural with the ultra flamboyant, edelman has created a truly fabulous pair of shoes.

    And I love how you've styled them! Recreating the stripes of the shoes on top is such a great idea. You look awesome, and I love how your long dark hair goes with the whole look. Gorgeous.
