sparkle & twinkle

About to head off to the airport to get to the Bay and squeezed in needed time to put on my nails for the NYE weekend. I wanted something simple but sparkly and I also wanted to make sure my nails can transition to any outfit I wear over the next few days. Thus I went for a nude sparkle. Really reminds me of Britney Spears' Toxic outfit.

Base: OPI for Sephora Nonfat Soy Half Caff
1st Coat: F21 Teal Glitter
2nd Coat: F21 Silver Glitter
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Clear

    love this look. I'm a big fan of jazzed up neutrals for nails, that way when I let them chip off over the course of the next two weeks, it's not as noticeable.

    It's pretty. Personally I like to wear color with glitter. So I rarely wear a transparent polish with glitter. However, there have been occasions in the past when I felt like just having a little sparkle on my nails. I think this look would also suit people who like the transparent look for work or other reasons.
