H&M Fall Fashion at NYFW

I’m thrilled to be back at New York Fashion Week after taking a break for a few seasons — life just gets in the way. I’ve missed the hustle of the city and I’ve missed the faces of friends with whom I started this whole blogging thing years ago.

————— I partnered with H&M to put together this look from their Fall Fashion Collection and it’s an outfit I’m so excited to wear. The polka dot print is making a huge comeback in high fashion in silky silhouettes and soft colorways, so as soon I saw this chic dress from H&M’s new collection, I had to have it. I love the ruched sleeves, structured shoulders, and the quietly elegant cut of this dress. Paired with these fab white leather boots, the polka dot dress is elevated to a look of enduring style. The boots are edgier than what I’d usually wear, but New York might have put a spell on me. It’s so fun to be amongst my stylish NYC friends and to share all the inspiration with our distinctive aesthetics. I was able to peep the new Fall Fashion Collection launching September 21st in stores and on HM.com and it is so good, so don’t miss out! Expect seriously stylish boots in classic black and fun, disco gold, soft faux fur coats, and cozy oversized knits that look great with skinny jeans or high--waisted trousers. The past couple of nights my friends and I made time in our hectic schedules to spend hours undocumented, catching up over a meal and cheersing with drinks that won’t end up on Instagram Stories. Kyle and I have met with colleagues we’ve worked with the past year and finally put the friendliest faces to their email address. I’ve had some of the best spaghetti and Chinese dumplings that we actually can’t find in Los Angeles. Even the soft morning sunlight that bounces off the worn brick walls and filters through our living room windows is quietly beautiful and refreshing. The shows I did catch and the times I walked through Skylight Clarkson Square provided so much fashion inspiration and reminded me why Fashion Week exists; Fashion Week brings together the huge, diverse community that only emboldens creativity and dreams. The chaos of NYFW and New York as a whole is the commonality in pushing forward boldness and coterie. I actually love it.
