When that rare opportunity comes to really get gussied up, I. get. dedicated.

It's not so much the result, but the process that absolutely thrills me. Getting ready has become my kind of ritual - a routine where I turn the computer off, leave my phone in the other room, and clear my mind while I just focus on me. It's a moment where I know I'm taking care of myself amongst the day's hours heavily preoccupied on other commitments. I find more indulgence in the beauty side of the ritual, but getting ready this night before a fabulous dinner was a bit different. This dress was one I've been waiting for for a long time and I had already marked it as my next dressed-up-date dress. Wearing the Tacori jewels during the day just left me in love with feeling glamorous and I couldn't end that mood just yet. I mean I really could live in Tacori ev-er-y-day, dressed up or down; their gracefully blended designs of modern elegance and timeless aesthetic can make any outfit look good and I appreciate that these are jewels I can pass down to my future daughters. So in this night's ritual, finally slipping into the dress of my dreams and delicately putting on each piece of Tacori jewelry was a decadent experience in the simplest manner.
