NYFW Day 1 Look

Finally back from NYFW and so happy to be home on the west coast. But I love New York and this trip was definitely a thrill. So it's first day at NYFW Spring 2013 and what do I wear to such a major life event?? I was heading to BCBG Max Azria as my first show at the Lincoln Center so I kept it very feminine yet minimal with my pale pink bodycon ASOS dress and sheer white tunic from In My Air. I'm obsessed with how soft the translucent tunic draped and flowed in the New York breeze and am super excited to explore its versatility in my wardrobe. It was just the perfect addition over a bodycon for a demure look. As always, I can't live without some color and I kind of adore mixing my red Khirma Eliazov bag with the pale pink of my dress.

It was a successful first day at NYFW, going straight to a tour at the Modern Vice factory right after the BCBG show (pics to come!) and a full blown nap to hold me over until Ivana Helsinki and Fashion's Night Out.  And it's the only day I wore heels because my feet had already quit on me for the week. I can't even look at heels anymore. Major instagram diary of NYFW to come!
